After delaying the Lakers’ return in Game 3, the Denver Nuggets are poised to put the series back on a level playing field with a win in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.A loss would put them in the all-too-familiar position of a 3-1 deficit.

All eyes will be on Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, but in Game 3 the difference came from their supporting cast in Jerami Grant, Monte Morris and Michael Porter Jr. Can they do it again?

– Monte Morris and Jamal Murray scored the last 12 points for the Nuggets as they cut the lead to 105-102 (3:10)

– Jokic is back in the game alongside Millsap. They both have five faults

– KCP hits all three on one end and gets theft on the other. He makes big plays for the Lakers in the home stretch (3:56)

– Jamal Murray AGAIN! He gets another tough finish to get to the rim and the Nuggets are back at four points. (5:34)

– Davis and Rondo hook up for another alley-oop. AD scored Laker’s last eight points as they climbed five 99-94, (6:15)

– Anthony Davis falls after turning his ankle on a sweater. He stays in the game and shoots two free throws (6:44)

– Jokic fouls Anthony Davis, picking up his fifth. The Lakers are in the bonus the rest of the way Millsap comes into the game (8:06)

– Jamal Murray keeps the Nuggets close at hand. His aggressiveness behind the wheel of the basket catches up with the Lakers’ defense.

End of third quarter: Lakers 87, Nuggets 84

– Every time the Lakers make a run and take the double-digit advantage, the Nuggets have found an answer and head for the third quarter down three points, ending the period on an 11-4

– Michael Porter Jr came to life for the Nuggets with some big trebles. He gets one to go on the last shot of the quarter to make 13 points and six rebounds off the bench.

– Anthony Davis struggles on the glass again, with just one bounce. Howard (11) and LeBron (8) did most of the glass damage for LA.

– Rajon Rondo provided a big spark in the third quarter! The false bullet never gets old. Layup gives Lakers a 10-point lead (2:35)

– The Nuggets are shooting well on the field (57.4%) but the domination of the Lakers on the glass made the difference. They racked up 20 second chance points in the middle of the third.

Torrey Craig drains the triple and Murray calls it with another layup as the Nuggets come back to less than five points. Timeout Lakers (7:21)

– Dwight Howard gets the free kick to come down and the Lakers opened up a 10-point lead (70-60) thanks to a 10-2 (8:14) run

– After 12 points behind, the Nuggets have rallied to reduce the halftime deficit to just five points, led by Jamal Murray’s 16 points on 7 out of 9 shots. Jokic and Grant have 10 each

– Dwight Howard was a monster in the first half, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, including 6 on the offensive glass. His activity around the rim helped the Lakers create 18 second chance points, more than they’ve had in any game in this series.

– Davis leads with 19 points, but the Lakers have four different double-digit players with 14 points from LeBron and 10 from Kuzma.

– The Lakers went to their zonal defense early, but credit the Nuggets who moved the ball well early, getting 4 assists on their first 8 field goals.
