Lee Kerslake, drummer for Ozzy Osbourne and Uriah Heep, has died

A cause of death has not been announced.A post signed by Uriah Heep’s lead guitarist Mick Box called Kerslake “one of the nicest men in the world.”

“He had an unparalleled passion for life and was loved by fans, as well as everyone who crossed his path,” the post said on Uriah Heep’s official Facebook page. “Rock in peace my friend and say hello to David, Gary, John and Trevor for me!”

In another post, the group said Kerslake wouldn’t be forgotten, sentimental rocker Ozzy Osbourne shared on his own social media.

“It’s been 39 years since I’ve seen Lee, but he lives on forever on the records he’s performed on for me, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman,” Osbourne said.
