PARIS (Reuters) – French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Sunday criticized the poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny who is in intensive care at a Berlin hospital and said Russia must provide an explanation .
“It’s a serious situation. It is another Russian adversary who is poisoned on Russian soil with Russian military product. So we say to the Russians: talk to us… We want explanations, ”Le Drian told France Inter radio.
Russia said on Thursday that the West should not rush to try him on Navalny’s poisoning and there was no reason to accuse him of the crime.
