Kanye West has claimed to have spent $ 50 million on his Sunday service last year.
The 43-year-old rapper made the statement during an interview with Nick Cannon on his podcast, Cannon’s Class, on Tuesday.
“I spent every penny I got on marketing Yeezy on the Sunday Service. Every dollar I’ve had, ”hitmaker Gold Digger said.

The father of four continued, “I spent $ 50 million last year on Sunday service if you add up the operas, if you add up the flights. It was 120 people going to Jamaica.
“The Yeezys, they were selling. So instead of paying for ads, I invested it in the church. I have invested in spreading the gospel. I invested in saying the name of Jesus at the top. ‘
West began his weekly-cum-concert religious ceremonies in January 2019 and quickly moved invitation-only events from the Calabasas estate he shares with his wife Kim Kardashian to a US and then international tour.

In the same interview, West denied speculation that he would run for president in an attempt to help Donald Trump get re-elected and insisted that no one was funding his campaign.
In an excerpt from the interview, West brought up rumors that he was “in cahoots” with Republicans.
“They say they pay you to do what you do to be a distraction,” Cannon said in response.
West quickly reversed this suggestion, saying, “Brother, no one can pay me!” I have more money than Trump!
West also denied speculation that he would run for president in an attempt to help Donald Trump get re-elected and insisted that no one was funding his campaign.
West discussed his unlikely presidential candidacy in an interview with Nick Cannon’s Cannon Class podcast that aired Tuesday. Cannon shared a preview of the interview on Instagram on Monday
The couple shared a warm laugh before Cannon said, “But people say you’re a distraction, and because they don’t want four more years from Trump, maybe you could.
“You want a four-year alternative to Ye. Is it realistic right now in 2020? “
“I’m not running for president – I’m walking,” West replied.
The recorded interview at the West Mountain Ranch in Cody, Wyoming, will be released in full on Tuesday.
West’s claim that he is richer than Trump appears to be false, as Forbes lists the net worth of the former at $ 1.3 billion and the latter at $ 2.1 billion.
But the rapper took issue with Forbes’ estimate when it was released in April, saying its true value exceeds $ 3 billion.
West had a big laugh from Cannon when he said, “I’m not running for President – I’m walking”
West announced his presidential bid in early July – just four months before Election Day.
“We must now fulfill America’s promise by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for President of the United States! # 2020VISION, ”he tweeted on Independence Day.
The announcement was met with mixed reactions of skepticism and excitement, with online bookies placing its odds of winning at 50/1 – or 2%.
Since entering the race, West has done little to promote his candidacy and has only managed to get his name on the ballot in ten states so far, according to CNN: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont.
His voting status is still under review in Virginia, and he still has time to run for office in Arizona, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Rhode Island.
In the remaining 33 states, West either missed the deadline to file a vote or was refused because he did not have enough signatures.

Problems in West’s campaign have fueled speculation about his motives for staying in the race – including claims that Trump and the GOP may fund him in an attempt to siphon black votes from Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Democrats’ concern escalated earlier this month after Jared Kushner, the senior White House adviser who is also participating in Trump’s re-election campaign, confirmed he spoke with West on several occasions, along with other members of the billionaire’s long presidential campaign.
“Kanye has been a friend of mine since – I’ve known him for about 10 years,” the president’s senior adviser said at a White House press briefing.
“There are a lot of issues that the president has championed and admires,” Kushner said of him.
West publicly aligned himself with Trump in a series of tweets in October 2018 that raised concerns about the rapper’s mental state.
Soon after, he visited Trump in the White House – while wearing the president’s MAGA hat – and delivered a rambling and blasphemy-laden speech in which he discussed alternate universes and his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, which he said was actually sleep deprivation.
Speaking to a crowd of reporters in the Oval Office, he said the hat was like a Superman cape and said Trump made him a billionaire.
