She wrote: “My beautiful, classy, kind, generous, intelligent and amazing mom passed away this morning. She was my best friend and the strongest woman I know.
“She was the best mom in the world and the best human you could wish to know. I love you so much mom. How can I do this without you?
Jodie added a number of snaps of herself and her mother to illustrate the sad message.
After sharing the post, the model received kind messages of condolence from her fans.
One wrote: “Jodie, if that’s any consolation – none at all – your mom was beautiful and you can see how much she loved you. You must have been his pride and his joy. I’m really sorry to hear this news and I hope you can get over this x ”
Others added, “Oh Jodie, I can’t even begin to imagine the pain you are going through, I’m so sorry for your loss xx” and “Oh honey I’m so sorry. Sending all the love and strength. ”
In May, Jodie said her mother had been ‘kicked out of hospital’ due to the coronavirus pandemic despite battling an aggressive form of cancer.
The bodybuilder explained that her mother was discharged home from hospital due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She later admitted that her mother was “disappearing quickly” at home.
Jodie was responding to a social media post from the Balls To Cancer charity, which urged people not to fear the NHS with symptoms of cancer.
The original post wrote: “We cannot say it enough. THE NHS IS OPEN, please don’t stay home with symptoms of cancer, talk to your doctor, or visit A&E. lives are saved with early detection! Please RT. ”
Jodie explained in the comments that her mother faced a rather opposite experience.
Jodie tweeted: “That’s not quite true. My mom was basically kicked out of the hospital and said “come back in 8 weeks” even though she has the most aggressive growing cancer her consultant has ever seen. ”
She added: “Thrown out of hospital because of Covid. No treatment. She is dying at home. No word from the hospital. ”
Jodie also explained on the microblogging site that they were already trying many home remedies when a follower suggested she try cannabis oil and an alkaline diet.
Jodie wrote: “We’ve already done / are doing both. Her cancer is so aggressive. We have been told what treatment she needs, but the hospital will not see her until June. Sickening x. “
