Phillips may consider following Leeds legends
Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips can now consider breeding some of the club’s greats, after his first call-up for England.
Phillips was an unused replacement in England’s narrow 1-0 win over Iceland on Saturday night, but could play against Denmark in a few days.
As Nestor Watach writes , the 24-year-old could become the latest Leeds academy graduate to represent his country.
The final six are Lewis Cook, who made his England debut in 2018, Danny Rose, who has several caps for the Three Lions – likewise, Fabian Delph, Scott Carson, Aaron Lennon and James Milner.

Shackleton targets Liverpool after friendly win
After beating Pacos de Ferreira on Saturday afternoon, Leeds’ Jamie Shackleton claimed his side were “fully prepared” for next week’s trip to Anfield to face Liverpool.
It will be Leeds’ first high-level game in 16 years and against the league champions last season.
However, Shackleton insisted that Marcelo Bielsa’s men are fully prepared for next weekend’s huge test.
Shackleton said, “Yeah, we’re perfectly prepared. It’s only around the corner. Everyone is up for the challenge. We know it will be exactly that – a challenge.
“Against the champions, it’s as difficult as possible, but we are more than ready. “
