News, the Million dollar baby The actress explained that she had already sought treatment for malignant ovarian cysts in 2015, but the board decided not to cover it because they saw it as treatment for infertility, which was not not included in their coverage.

Hilary alleged that the board of directors made this decision because it “was based on the notion that the sole purpose of preserving the health of an ovary is to procreate.”

In response to their decision, Hilary and her doctors explained, “She was not looking for coverage for fertility treatment, but only for the treatment of her ovarian cysts. ”

Despite clarification from her healthcare team, Hilary said she had not received approval for “medically necessary” treatments.
