Newcomers Gabriel and William Saliba were greeted at the camp being tied with a long rope and buckles to returning loan star Dani Ceballos and Hector Bellerin during Tuesday’s session.
With the Gunners bringing a host of new faces this summer, it seemed like Arteta was keen for his players to develop their fitness and team spirit in an unorthodox way.

Arsenal’s side were all smiles during the session, with another new signatory Willian also pictured after arriving from Chelsea as well as talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Mesut Ozil was also pictured participating, but there was no sign of another outcast from last season, Matteo Guendouzi.
Bellerin trained with his teammates after revealing he had become the second player in Forest Green Rovers League 2, while Emiliano Martinez, who was recently linked with a move to Aston Villa, was also present at the session, while
