TORONTO – Toronto Public Health (TPH) is asking recent guests at a popular downtown bar to monitor symptoms of COVID-19 after three employees tested positive for the disease. In a press release on Sunday, TPH said those who frequented the Regulars Bar, located on King Street West near Bathurst Street, between September 13 and September 22, could be affected and should watch for symptoms for 14 days after their visit. precaution. ”

“TPH has followed up on all known close contacts,” the press release read. “Close contacts were asked to self-isolate for 14 days and get tested.”

TPH estimates that approximately 600 people were able to visit the facility during this time.

If you visited the bar between September 13-22 and were not contacted by health officials, TPH says you are not identified as a close contact of the confirmed case and are considered as low risk.

However, if symptoms do develop, TPH asks those affected to contact them directly, get tested, and self-isolate immediately.

TPH said Regulars Bar had worked cooperatively with the agency throughout the investigation and thanked the facility for helping reduce the spread of the virus.
