PARIS (Reuters) – President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday he would give Lebanese leaders an additional four to six weeks to implement a roadmap proposed by France to get the country out of the brink of chaos, but has ruled out for the moment to impose sanctions on its leaders.

Macron said he didn’t think imposing sanctions would help at this point, but could consider it at a later stage in conjunction with others.
