Death toll remains unchanged, but new patient admitted to hospital
There are now 1,680 cases of the virus reported since March, of which 1,416 (84%) are considered resolved.
Active cases decreased by five, with 144 cases considered active.
There have been no new deaths related to COVID-19 for more than a month, with that figure remaining at 120 for another day.
Hospitals in our region have admitted a new COVID-19 patient, the first in a long time.
There are now ten declared outbreaks in the region, including three daycares. The latest addition is an outbreak at Kitchener Collegiate Institute.
