Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has shared unfortunate news on his home front: he and his family have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.Johnson announced his diagnosis on Wednesday in an 11-minute video on Instagram. He said he was shocked after hearing their positive tests, calling the ordeal “one of the hardest and most difficult things we have ever had to endure.”
The actor said his wife, Lauren Hashian, and two young daughters contracted the virus, but have now recovered. He said his daughters “bounced back” after suffering from a sore throat for a few days.
Johnson said he and his wife had a “bad patch”.
Johnson said he and his family got the virus from close family friends, who told him they didn’t know where they got it.
Johnson said the ordeal made him more conscientious. He made several suggestions for fighting the virus, such as wearing a mask, boosting your immune system, and committing to wellness.
