No social worker or crisis intervention specialist was called.

Joe Rogan lashes out at Alyssa Milano and other awakened celebrities, says they become activists “as soon as the calls stop coming”
Milano and her husband, talented agent Dave Bugliari, reportedly told lawmakers their dogs were frightened by a sound, the Daily Mail said. They described the suspect as a 40-year-old man with a rifle. But when a teenager who was shooting squirrels at the property realized he had triggered the call, he called police to tell them what was going on.
After more than three hours of searching the area, deputies met surprised neighbors at a local community center to explain what had happened, calling the incident. «Squirrelgate».
This hypocrite calls the police, sends the police airship and many cars. Did she tell those wonderful law enforcement officers that she wanted to “PAY THE POLICE” over there? #AlyssaMilano why didn’t you call in a social worker or community peacemaker? https://t.co/1YkimF9smd

Milano posted a tweet on Tuesday saying it was her neighbor who called the police first. After being notified, her husband called 911 to check when the deputies would arrive, she said.
“These are exactly the kinds of situations police officers are trained for and should respond to, and we will always support the police who have the resources they need for appropriate police action.” Milano added.
Apparently the right-wing media and the trolls decided to target me because my neighbor called the police after seeing a person dressed in black holding a gun behind my house where I live with my young children and my husband. Here is my statement and what really happened. pic.twitter.com/RwnSd9XCs0

The actress has made repeated requests to defeat law enforcement. She urged her 3.7 million Twitter followers in July to sign an online petition to slash funding for the Los Angeles Police Department by 90%. She did not attempt to reconcile her Tuesday comment on adequate resources for a police response as she saw Sunday with a 90% cut in funding.
Milano tweeted in June about an armored vehicle that a West Virginia police department received, suggesting the money could have been used to feed “Hungry children” or fund community programs. She apparently missed the fact that the department received the vehicle for free.
Last month Milano tweeted: “Turn up the volume. This is why we are protesting. And we are not going to stop. #DefundThePolice. “
A neighbor was disturbed by the juxtaposition between Milano’s public statements and her private behavior. “She can tweet these things because at the end of the day she’s living behind doors in a gated community,” they told the Daily Mail. “She knows the police will come and save her. But what about all those people who don’t have that luxury and live in dangerous neighborhoods? She obviously doesn’t care. “

The neighbor added that the law enforcement response on Sunday likely cost “Thousands of dollars” and could have been avoided if Milano had sent her husband to the yard to find out what was going on before calling 911.
Guess when you have white privilege you can choose to have cops arrest a kid for using an air pistol, but defend a thug and criminal for resisting arrest!

Twitter users were no less critical, questioning those in Milan Mental Health and accusing him of hypocrisy. “Why didn’t she call a social worker and a priest instead? ” asked a commenter. Another called her ” the Karen of the police. ”
Milano said she wanted to see non-police professionals respond “The addiction and mental health crises and non-violent events so that these brave officers can do the jobs they are so proficient in, as they demonstrated this weekend. “
