A branch of KFC in Glasgow has been closed after six staff members tested positive for the coronavirus.
The fast food restaurant on Pollokshaws Road was closed for two weeks as a precaution, the company confirmed.
All affected staff are currently isolating themselves at home and KFC has said it is liaising with the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Restrictions on movement were reintroduced in Glasgow on Wednesday after a spike in cases in the region.
A KFC spokesperson said: “Six team members from our restaurant Pollokshaws have tested positive for the coronavirus.
“They are now self-isolating at home according to government guidelines and it goes without saying that we wish them a full and speedy recovery.
“We have been in close contact with the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and made the decision to close the restaurant for two weeks as a precaution. “
