Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh Presents New BBC One Show


Kym Marsh is set to co-host a new BBC One news show called Morning Live with Gethin Jones.

Launched this fall, it is “designed to start the day and reflect the mood of the nation” and will air daily at 9:15 am.

Morning Live will feature familiar faces from the BBC Daytime / Early Peak family, including Rav Wilding, Dr Xand van Tulleken, Will Kirk, Anna Haugh and Sabrina Grant – bringing their own unique expertise to the conversation (via BBC).

“I’ve always loved morning TV, it’s a great way to start the day (with a cup of tea in hand of course),” Kym said. “I love nothing more than a good catch-up, although it will be on a slightly different scale, plus a daily conversation with our adorable viewers.

“I think variety is key, so I’m really excited to be working with Gethin and our fantastic guest presenters to bring the latest lifestyle, health and consumer concerns.

Excited to start, The unique show Host Gethin also commented, “An introductory role on a morning show like this is a bit of a dream to me.

“What excites me the most is the opportunity to immerse myself in some of the biggest issues at the heart of our daily lives right now,” he continued.

“My parents protected and my sister works in a hospital, so like a lot of people, this year has been such a worry. For me, this show couldn’t come at a better time.

“I look forward to working alongside Kym to give UK viewers a much needed boost and of course the important information they need. “
