UFC fighter Colby Covington isn’t backing down after his public row with LeBron James.

Covington took to Twitter on Monday to say that the Los Angeles Lakers star couldn’t “last 10 seconds with me” after several NBA players targeted him on social media for calling James ” coward without thorns ”after his fight with Tyron Woodley.

“LOL to snowflakes who believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me!” His tweet read. “If that coward had the ass or the ability to kick anyone, Delonte West would have lost his teeth long before his meth habit!”

Covington was referring to a 2010 rumor that James ‘former teammate West was having an affair with James’ mother.

The discussion began on Saturday after Covington beat Woodley in five rounds via TKO.

“I want to dedicate this fight to all the first responders, to all the military,” he said. “This world wouldn’t be safe without you guys keeping us safe, and not these awake athletes. I’ve had enough of those thornless cowards like LeBron James.

While James himself did not respond, several NBA players jumped to his defense.

“Who is it again,” Kevin Durant commented under an Instagram post.

Michael Carter-Williams of Orlando Magic commented on the same post, “It’s weird how nobody tells him to stick to combat. ”

“Why tho? Austin Rivers of the Houston Rockets was added.

Covington, a public Trump supporter, was called in by the president in a post-game interview to congratulate him on his latest achievement.

“I’m proud of you man,” Trump said. “I’m a big fan and proud of you. You are tough, you have the right mind.
