The song begins with 33.9 million US streams in the week ending August 27, according to Nielsen Music / MRC Data. The sum marks a new best for the group, surpassing the 29.9 million that “Boy with Luv,” starring Halsey, counted in its first week (April 27, 2019).
Likewise, BTS achieves its highest rank in the Streaming Song Chart (as of September 5), where “Dynamite” opens at No.3, once again beating “Boy With Luv”, which reached No. 5.

As previously reported, “Dynamite” ranks # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 based on streaming, broadcast and sales, becoming BTS’s first leader and the first for an all-South Korean number. Along with the group’s new weekly streaming record for one song, “Dynamite” sold 300,000 copies, a new personal sales record, surpassing the 86,000 sold by “On” in its first week (March 7, 2020) .
