It’s hardly comforting, but Americans aren’t the only ones wanting to fight over wearing a mask, as a cop and passenger went ballistic on a Liverpool train on face covers.
The passenger was sitting in the train without a face mask, when he was approached by a UK transport cop, who explained the exercise… you want to get on the train, wear a mask.
The cops allegedly got involved after someone called and said a man was coughing on the passengers. The cops got on the train and met a 34-year-old man Anthony Baldwin, and things quickly got physical.
Baldwin claimed he had underlying health issues and, under the laws of Britain, he would be exempt from wearing headgear.
The officer had none of that and started grabbing Baldwin, trying to get him off the train. Other passengers shout at the cop for being aggressive, claiming the man has a health problem. At the end of the video, it appears the cop dumps what appears to be pepper spray on Baldwin.
A large number of cops then grabbed Baldwin and got him off the train, as passengers shouted at the cop who had confronted him. Baldwin was reportedly charged with threatening behavior and assaulting a police officer.
