Brighton and Hove Albion have secured the signing of Ligue 2 striker Ulrick Eneme Ella from Amiens on undisclosed terms, and he will initially join the club’s Under-23 team.
Under-23 coach Simon Rusk said: “We are delighted to have signed Ulrick, and there is no doubt about his talent, having represented his country at the junior level.
“We will work with Ulrick to help him settle and continue to grow. He’s an exciting young player and I’m looking forward to adding more competition to the group of attacking players we already have here at the club.
Eneme is a French Under-19 international, capable of playing as a striker or winger, and has moved on to Lens and Auxerre.
He joined the academy of Austrian club FC Salzburg in 2017, which loaned him to their colleague Red Bull and FC Liefering in 2019.
He returned to France when he joined Amiens in the summer of 2019, and he was capped at under 16 to under 19.
