Big Sean marks his third album No.1 on the Billboard 200, as Detroit 2 debuts at the top of the list. The set, released on September 4 via GOOD / Def Jam, launches with 103,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during the week ending September 10, according to Nielsen Music / MRC Data. He had already been No. 1 with his last two solo outings, 2017 I’ve decided and 2015 Dark Sky Paradise.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the United States based on multi-metric consumption measured in equivalent album units. Units include album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 official on-demand audio and video streams funded by advertising or 1,250 paid / subscription-on-demand generated by songs of an album.
