How Aston Villa could line up with Traore at Bristol City
Aston Villa are said to have had a 70-hour delay between the final whistle against Sheffield United and the first at Ashton Gate on Thursday.
Villa is in action in the Carabao Cup third round against the Robins just four weeks after two 60-minute games against them in a preseason friendly.
The two-game fixture ended 1-1 while on Thursday Dean Smith will look for progression to face either Stoke or Gillingham in the next round.
The League Cup is a competition Smith has spoken of at length before and reiterated that it is a competition Villa can win after being so close last year.
Villa, meanwhile, fresh off a winning start to the Premier League, will sound the changes against Bristol City knowing they will face Fulham four days later on Monday 28 September.
Here, BirminghamLive takes a look at the potential starting XI that Smith will likely go with, including a £ 17million start in the summer Bertrand Traore.
