An Argentinian lawmaker seen kissing a woman’s breast during a Zoom Live Legislature meeting has been suspended from his post.
Juan Emilio Ameri sparked outrage over his conduct as video of the incident went viral.
Argentines watched lawmakers hold congressional sessions on Zoom during the coronavirus pandemic, but got more than they signed up for on Thursday.

The video shows Ameri’s partner sitting on her lap, the Buenos Aries Times reported. Ameri is then seen touching her body, before lowering her top and kissing her chest.
Ameri is from the ruling Peronist party and at the time, he and his colleagues were debating bills, according to reports.
The Speaker of the House, Sergio Massa, interrupted the session to report “a serious offense committed by a deputy”.

“There was a situation that has nothing to do with the normal decorum and functioning of this house,” he said and called for Ameri’s immediate suspension and the creation of a commission of five members to speed up his expulsion. The proposals were approved.
Ameri, from the province of Salta, said he didn’t realize he was still connected.
“I am very ashamed, very badly,” Ameri told Con Vos radio in Buenos Aires.

“It’s not that I was sleeping with my wife. It was a 10 second circumstance, ”he says. “She came out of the bathroom and I saw her. I told her: let’s see how it is because she had an implant a few days ago.
He said he was convinced he did not have an internet connection but had been reconnected automatically.
