Andrew Wiggins sweater looks slick on day one of Warriors minicamp

The Warriors held their first voluntary minicamp practice on Wednesday in their first organized team event since their season ended prematurely in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The star Golden State players didn’t participate, but it was a refreshing sight nonetheless to see the team back on the field again.Steph Curry and Draymond Green were not in attendance as they both received excused absences to deal with family issues. Neither Klay Thompson nor Eric Paschall, both of whom remained in league-mandated quarantine, although they are expected to join later in the week.

Even without those four, it looked like the Warriors had a good run.

“It’s fun,” Jordan Poole said afterward. “It’s fun to see their faces and interact with the guys who are at home or who are gone. At least being able to come back and connect as a unit is really helpful. “
