Crypto traders have their eyes on a massive Bitcoin transaction involving one of the largest wallets in the industry.

The large Bitcoin holder just moved 60,000 BTC worth $ 641 million for a fee of $ 14.50.

The transaction was first seen by the Bitcoin Block Bot, which is an automated blockchain tracker.

According to the latest block explorer data, the whale is likely the Bitfinex crypto exchange moving funds in and out of the cold store.

BitInfoCharts shows that the sending wallet, which was established in August 2019, started receiving and sending huge amounts of Bitcoin in February 2020, on its way to becoming the 10th largest BTC wallet ahead of the most recent transfer. . Now the wallet is the 12th richest BTC wallet on record.

The large-scale transaction happened just as Bitcoin was undergoing a strong correction. At the time of writing, the crypto king is trading at $ 10,509, according to CoinMarketCap, down almost 15% from its high of $ 12,359 in 2020.

Ethereum whales were also visibly active at the end of the week.

The Whale Alert ledger monitor tracks four major ETH transactions, the largest moving $ 200,000 worth $ 77.7 million between two unknown wallets. None of the ETH appears to be heading into crypto exchanges, where it could potentially be sold for cash.
