Tim Rozon is ready to play The Surrealist in a new Syfy series that will reunite him with the two Ruisseau Schitt stage partner Sarah Levy and Wynonna Earp newcomer Savannah Basley.
Filming is set for September 15 in Newfoundland, Canada, the Syfy / Blue Ice Pictures co-production follows real estate agent Nick Roman (played by Rozon) and an elite team of specialists who handle the cases that no one else can: haunted and owned houses that literally scare off potential buyers. By researching, investigating, and “fixing” things that happen overnight, the team works to create closures and closures, even as they battle demons (Peacemaker, come on?!) of their own.
Nick de Rozon is the owner of The Roman Agency, a real estate company specializing in “metaphysically committed” properties. He gained a whispered reputation as someone who could sell haunted houses that no one else could.
Update: Wynonna Earp is currently in production on the last two episodes of Season 4, which will air its mid-season finale this Sunday, August 30.
Levy, who on Ruisseau Schitt was Twyla at Rozon’s Mutt, will play Susan Ireland, a hugely successful real estate agency who is down to earth and doesn’t believe in ghosts or hauntings. Basley will play Zooey L’Enfant, the office manager of The Roman Agency.
In addition, Adam Korson (Impostors, seeds) was chosen to play Father Phil Orley, who decided to combine his keen research skills with his understanding of spiritual issues to become the company’s research specialist; Maurice Dean Wint (Haven, Diggstown) will play August Ripley, technology specialist for the Roman agency; and Tennille Read (Working moms) is about to play Megan Donovan, a medical student who just inherited a house from her grandfather.
