Chinese-owned TikTok video sharing app has millions of users in the United States. But many are disappointed by President Donald Trump’s threats to ban it in the country.
Washington says it is concerned that user data may be shared with the Chinese government and the videos may be censored, but TikTok rejected this.
Tech giant Microsoft has said it will continue negotiations to buy Tiktok’s business in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The company says it has spoken to Trump and will address concerns about the social media platform.
