WASHINGTON: The U.S. government will pay Johnson & Johnson more than $ 1 billion for 100 million doses of its experimental coronavirus vaccine, the drugmaker said on Wednesday.
He said he would deliver the vaccine to the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) on a non-profit basis for use after approval or authorization for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of United States.
J & J’s investigational vaccine is currently being tested in healthy volunteers in the United States and Belgium in an early stage study.
