If you are reading this, you have reached Umbrella Academy End of season 2. First of all, congratulations! Surely you had a happy ride. Second, we know you have questions – we have answers. The second season of the Netflix series, based on the comics of Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba |, was a marked improvement over the first. It’s not that season 1 was bad, but the 1960s season 2 was so tightly constructed, so emotionally fulfilling, so narratively satisfying that it truly is one of the best TV seasons that Netflix has produced so far.
The Continuing Adventures of Five (Aidan Gallagher), Vanya (Ellen Page), Luther (Tom Hopper), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Diego (David castaneda) and then (Justin H. Min) were an absolute delight this time around, blending action, humor, emotion, and progressive character development into an extremely satisfying 10-episode bundle.
But the Umbrella Academy The Season 2 finale also ends on a slightly confusing and insanely tantalizing cliffhanger, setting up a potentially extremely delicious Season 3 (which Netflix has yet to officially order). So without further ado, let’s break down that ending, what exactly happened, and what that means for the road ahead.
