It didn’t seem likely a week ago, but while it looked like the 2021 three-star wide receiver East Lansing (MI) was set to stay home and pick the state of Michigan, his recruiting made a sudden change a few days before his scheduled engagement date – which ultimately led him to choose Michigan. After making his announcement on WLNS and via his Instagram account, Anthony sat down with local reporters to discuss his commitment to the Wolverines. Among them, The Wolverine.com’s EJ Holland was on hand in East Lansing, and Anthony credited his connections with current Michigan receivers Nico Collins and Giles Jackson as part of the reason he chose to go to the school in Ann Arbor.

So, understandably, Jackson was one of many to weigh in via Twitter on Anthony’s engagement. WolverinesWire has compiled some of the best reactions from current players, coaches, staff, media and a few others to the big news for Corn and Blue on Friday night.

For Michigan fans, Scott Bell doesn’t need to be introduced. And he’s gone, as he tends to do when something good happens for UM and something bad happens for MSU.
