Tottenham Hotspur are set to seal their third transfer of the summer but fans are already looking to the next one.

Matt Doherty underwent his medical exam on Saturday ahead of his departure from Wolves which will see him join Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart to bolster Jose Mourinho’s squad before the end of the preseason.

Tottenham are looking to do more business before the window closes in October, with a number of outgoing moves also expected as Mourinho looks to balance his squad.

Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek, after the 23-year-old was excluded from the Dutch squad for their friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt, is a name Spurs have been strongly linked to this week. -end.

Doherty passes Spurs medical check-up

Matt Doherty completed his medical before moving to Tottenham Hotspur, football.london understands.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers right-back was put to the test on Saturday at the north London club ahead of his move to the capital.

Doherty has passed his medical exam and the two clubs will now finalize the deal which will see Tottenham get the 28-year-old cheaply, with costs estimated at around £ 13million.

Spurs wanted the deal to be sealed before the Dubliner teamed up with the Republic of Ireland squad on Sunday.
