However, on Friday, coronavirus patients were admitted again. The exact number is unknown, the health network indicating that there are less than 10 people.
“When we had so few patients, we used ‘less than 10’ as the message because of patient confidentiality – which means we have between 1 and 10 patients today,” the spokesperson added. .
“We expect that we will continue to admit patients with the COVID virus – but we are encouraged that the numbers are very low right now and yesterday was the first time that we had no patients admitted with the virus.
UHN had also previously reported five outbreaks of the coronavirus, but there have been no more since June 1.
To date, in Toronto, there have been 15,548 cases, including 14,117 cured and 1,163 reported deaths.
