“The decorative sticker on the water tank of waterjet toys contains levels of lead in the ink that exceed the federal ban on lead content,” the advisory reads.

Lead exposure in children can lead to impaired cognition and behavioral disturbances, among other health effects. and is toxic if swallowed.

The two products are the Super Soaker XP 20 and the Super Soaker XP 30.

The commission urged customers to immediately remove the toy from children and to contact Hasbro for details on how to obtain a full refund.

According to a press release posted on the Hasbro website, a manufacturer received the stickers from an “unauthorized supplier” without Hasbro’s consent.

“As soon as we became aware of the potential problem, we immediately launched an investigation and implemented preventive containment measures,” the statement said.

No injuries related to the recall were reported, according to the commission.
