Leeds United president Andrea Radrizzani believes changing the mentality at Elland Road is the biggest impact he’s had at the club.

The Italian has just overseen Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League, bringing top-level football back to Elland Road for the first time since 2004.

Radrizzani drew Marcelo Bielsa to Leeds and the Argentinian transformed the Whites, earning applause for his work at the club.

The Italian businessman admits that upon arriving at Leeds, he found a club that had accepted life as average attire.

And Radrizzani believes the biggest impact he’s had at Elland Road is to change the mindset.

The Italian reportedly said by the Yorkshire Post: « When I arrived there were great people but they would be happy with the average, they had neither the ambition nor the hope to succeed.

“Only leadership can change everyone.

“We have changed everyone’s mentality

“It’s the biggest impact I’ve had at the club. “

Leeds are expected to make signings during the transfer window, which is open until July 5, but it remains to be seen what level of kitty Radrizzani has lined up for the club to participate in the Premier League.
