The draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup as 70 EFL clubs discover their opponents


The Carabao Cup first round draw has been confirmed and there are some real tasty ties involved.This season’s competition has been forced to undergo an overhaul and schedule changes in an attempt to end it in the upcoming games roster.

The semi-finals have been reduced to one stage as we are set to see the first four rounds played out before the end of September.

Premier League clubs, as usual, won’t go into the pot until the second round, but several big clubs will still be included from the start.

Relegated Norwich was among those who removed the hat on Tuesday, along with the Brentford play-off finalists.
