Even though the trade deadline officially passed an hour ago, the news continues to flow.
The Blue Jays acquired another pitcher from Ross Stripling.
Stripling played a part of swinging between departure and relief with the Dodgers. He’s averaged 5.61 on the year in seven appearances in Los Angeles.
Prior to this year, he was great for the Dodgers. He was a star in 2018 and has an ERA of less than 4.0 for each of his last four seasons. It still has a few years of control so the cost will likely be higher in both PTBNLs.
Welcome to the Buffalo Blue Jays, Ross!
