Steve-O Duct Tape himself at notice board, removed by fire department


“Jackass” star Steve-O had a team of duct tape over a Los Angeles billboard – which prompted the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond on Thursday.The hit was an advertisement for his new comedy special, “Gnarly,” which is currently available to stream on his website. He posted about it on Instagram, posting a selfie of his perspective and expressing the safety precautions he took to ensure that no city resources were spent helping him leave the panel. .

“I’m strapped to a billboard right now (swipe to view the whole thing) and I want to point out that a team of real professionals rigged it all safe,” he wrote. “There is no way I will fall, and it is important for me not to waste the city’s precious resources on this.”

Despite the star’s insistence the stunt was safe, LAFD responded later that day, with video on CBS Los Angeles showing him being taken off the panel. An LAFD alert said 21 responders had been dispatched to the scene, which they called “an apparent behavioral emergency.” He said the event did not require hospital transport by ambulance.

Steve-O’s comedy special, “Gnarly,” shows him taped to the side of a truck as he travels from Las Vegas to Colorado. Her friends also feature in “Gnarly,” as they discuss some of the over the top things the star has done throughout her life.

The multimedia special is written and produced by Steve-O, alongside executive producers Lux Wright, Sam Macaroni and Scott Randolph. It is directed by Mark Ritchie.
