Court grants Sonya Deville’s request to seal evidence
Sonya Deville has asked Hillsborough County Circuit Court to seal evidence regarding her case against Philip Thomas II, the man who broke into her house with the intention of taking her hostage.
On August 24, a petition was filed to have the evidence sealed, including photographs establishing his address and details of his residence, as well as messages identifying members of his family.
HeelByNature.com has obtained a copy of the file, which reveals that Deville and his ex-girlfriend Ariana Johnson are both described as “victim or witness at risk of harm.” Johnson has previously been threatened by Thomas for his association with Deville.
The court allowed this request because Deville received additional threats from unknown individuals. The threatening messages included: “I will finish the job that Phillip started” and “My knife is sharper than Phillp’s”.
Phillip Thomas II is charged with three felons and one misdemeanor after being arrested on August 16, he remains in custody in Hillsborough County Jail as no bail has been granted.
Charges Philip A. Thomas II
- AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT – THIRD DEGREE FELONY
- BURGLARY ARMED WITH A HOME – FELONY PUNISHABLE FOR LIFE
- ARMED KIDNAPPING RANSOM OR REWARD OR HOSTAGE – FELONY LIFE

On August 27, a temporary injunction hearing is scheduled in the case.
Sonya Deville lost a WWE Loser Leaves last Sunday at WWE SummerSlam. She should be out of the ring. We don’t know how long his break will last.
