Showrunner Eric Wallace Teases Season 7 – DC Fandome – Deadline


Fans of Flash got a special look at never-before-seen takes during the DC Fandome on Saturday.During the virtual event, Flash Showrunner Eric Wallace has revealed clips from the show’s upcoming seventh season. The two-minute teaser, which sees the titular hero at his lowest point, features never-before-seen footage from the unreleased episode 20 of season six.

“When we had the closure as unfortunate as it was, we were on the last day of filming for what would have been the 20the episode of last season, which will now partly become the first episode of season seven, ”Wallace said on Saturday. “We had 85% of the footage we were able to use and we also knew where we were going in season seven.”

Although it is not known exactly when in 2021 the season 7 of Flash will premiere on The CW, Wallace told fans that if they watched the teaser carefully, they could actually decipher a good deal of what was to come in the series. The trailer sees Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen sharing intimate moments with Candice Patton’s Iris West, but it also presents a set of dangers plaguing the main cast.

“There are huge spoilers everywhere,” Wallace hinted.

Flash is among the few shows looking to restart production in Vancouver, following the COVID-19 lockdown that has lasted for months. Also aiming to resume filming in Canada are Supernatural, Superman and Lois and charm.
