On Friday night, SmackDown saw King Corbin take on Shorty G, and although Corbin came away with a win, it was Shorty G who ended up helping the King afterward.

Things ended for Shorty G in the ring once Matt Riddle stepped into the ring, distracting Corbin. Gulak attempted to outplay Corbin, but that failed, and Corbin quickly hit Shorty G with a day’s end for the win. After the match, Riddle slipped into the ring and began to attack Corbin. However, in a shocking turn of events, Shorty G grabbed the conundrum, delivering him an evil suplex before leaving the ring with Corbin and nodding that he wanted the king’s ransom.
