In a recent interview with talkSPORT
, Seth Rollins commented on WWE trying to build new stars, the departure of Paul Heyman, and more. You can check out some highlights from the interview below:If Paul Heyman’s exit will affect the formation of new talent:
“Well, first of all, I think the focus is still on building stars for the future. Especially in these times when a lot of artists are retiring for their own safety or are people getting sick here and there, then we are lacking a lot of our top talent due to various circumstances. But the focus is still on building future stars and I don’t want Paul Heyman leaving to be a reason anyone thinks it isn’t, because it definitely is.
On the women who did well in 2020: “I think it’s no secret that Bayley and Sasha [Banks] have done their best to replace Becky and the women’s division being just wide open. Charlotte Flair is now too. Women have lagged behind Becky and Charlotte for quite some time and now is the time for them to step up and do their thing. Asuka has stepped up her efforts as well, but I think Bayley and Sasha have been great. They filled that void as best they could and worked like crazy as Tag Team Champions and now RAW and SmackDown Champions.
