Celtic in bid for Robin Olsen

According to reports in Italy, Celtic have made the “most concrete” offer to Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

Despite the arrival of Vasilis Barkas from AEK Athens, Celtic are still keen to have the Sweden international on loan.

The keeper was bought for 8.5million euros as a replacement for Alisson Becker but struggled in Rome.

Roma, however, are not thrilled with Celtic’s loan offer, where they would only pay 50% of his salary.

Rangers legend wants midfielder signing

Rangers legend Brian Laudrup believes the club need to sign another creative midfielder.

The Danish ace saw the team struggle to break Livingston on Sunday with Joe Aribo missing.

He told the Daily Mail: “” Aribo’s tight control is excellent. Even in tight spaces, he can engage players or produce a skill to bring someone else into the game. There were times on Sunday when it could have been invaluable in unlocking something for the Rangers.

“I know Gerrard talked about adding another midfielder. It will be really interesting because they might need it to offer a little more creativity if Aribo is not available. These players tend to be expensive, but there will be others who could help the team.

Celtic favorite to sign Duffy

Celtic are favorites to land Republic of Ireland center-back Shane Duffy.

SkyBet installed the Hoops in 8/13 to sign the Brighton player.

Duffy has been linked with a loan change, as the Premier League has signaled interest.

Neil Lennon declined to comment on the speculation on Monday.
