Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Waitrose and Co-op urge customers not to consume these products for health and safety reasons.The Food Standards Agency publishes “Product Recall Information Notices” and “Product Recall Information Notices” to inform consumers and local authorities of food-related issues.

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it can be “removed” (taken from shelves) or “recalled” (when customers are asked to return the product).

Iceland recalled its own brand Chip Shop Curry Chicken Breast Toppers and Southern Fried Chicken Popsters because salmonella was found in the products

Waitrose & Partners is recalling Waitrose & Partners Chicken Satay with Sweet Chilli Sauce. This is because the wrong dip was packaged in the product, causing fish and peanuts not to be mentioned on the label.

This means that the product poses a potential risk to the health of anyone allergic to fish and / or peanuts.
