An industry source told The Sun that Roman was completely “shattered” by the tragedy.
The insider explained, “Roman and his colleagues are completely in shock, they can’t believe someone they were all close to is gone.
“They were all completely overwhelmed by this shocking news and take time to mourn and digest the tragedy.
“It’s a tough time for all of them right now. ”
Roman made Breakfast a huge hit for the station and regularly draws four million listeners to his weekday shows.
Roman took a place in the capital’s evening show at the age of 21.
