“It’s hard for me on a good day to remain the one who is meant to graciously accept the world’s need to share memories of him and to express condolences for his loss,” Zelda wrote. “As I have said in the past, although I am constantly touched by all your boundless love for him, some days it can feel like it is seen as a roadside memorial – a place , not a person – where people drive past and leave their feelings to then live their comforted days, their love for him has been testified.
