Robert Trump mourners reportedly hit restaurant worker, smash his nose


An unidentified mourning at the funeral of Robert Trump allegedly hit a Washington, DC restaurant worker in the face after learning the restaurant could not accommodate his large group due to coronavirus restrictions, according to a report.The alleged attack happened Friday night at the Fig & Olive restaurant, just hours after the White House funeral of President Trump’s younger brother, who died last week at the age of 71.

“I got advice that someone in town for Robert Trump’s funeral at the White House hit a waiter tonight at DC’s Fig & Olive restaurant,” tweeted Geoff Bennett, NBC News correspondent at the House. White. “I called and an employee over there confirmed, ‘Someone blindly took one of my servers. I pointed him straight in the nose.

“My server’s nose is crooked. Pretty sure the guy broke it. They did not apologize. I just said, “You don’t know how to talk to people,” Bennett said.

No one from the Trump family was reportedly involved.

Those who were in the “unruly” group still carried the funeral programs for the funeral ceremony, Bennett said.

The restaurant and DC police did not immediately respond to calls for comment.
