“I got advice that someone in town for Robert Trump’s funeral at the White House hit a waiter tonight at DC’s Fig & Olive restaurant,” tweeted Geoff Bennett, NBC News correspondent at the House. White. “I called and an employee over there confirmed, ‘Someone blindly took one of my servers. I pointed him straight in the nose.

“My server’s nose is crooked. Pretty sure the guy broke it. They did not apologize. I just said, “You don’t know how to talk to people,” Bennett said.

No one from the Trump family was reportedly involved.

Those who were in the “unruly” group still carried the funeral programs for the funeral ceremony, Bennett said.

The restaurant and DC police did not immediately respond to calls for comment.
