“I’ve been watching the fight for a long time,” Flair began. “I don’t pay attention to the competition. So i don’t know what BRUT or the other shows are really against it. I think that’s it for now. Believe it or not, I think sitting at home watching is fun watching in front of a large audience. It can affect him. But as for the hard working kids, come on. They’re breaking their ass. I cannot say enough about this. They are also missing some key players, but continue to walk. This is what successful people do. They don’t make excuses.
“They have this great work ethic that it will come back to. I don’t think anyone considers it personally. This is what is happening now. Vince McMahon, WWE, will bounce back bigger and better in a year. The pandemic has stopped a lot of things. It gave a different perspective on a lot of things, but it wasn’t down to their attitudes or level of performance. ”
Although the COVID-19 pandemic is a concern, Flair said he was not the type to sit on the sidelines.
“Some people are just happy to come home and sit on the sidelines,” Flair said. “I always like to do something. I had a great time when I was BRUT a few times with Randy. Being 71 and even being on TV and being involved with WWE is huge for me. ”
“The Nature Boy” was asked about the idea of rubbing another WWE Superstar – like he did for Randy Orton earlier in his career. Flair noted that he wanted to be involved in the upcoming WWE Championship match between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton, but WWE has yet to respond to that idea.
“I would definitely love this opportunity,” Flair replied. “I’m trying to make me handle Randy against [Drew] McIntyre [at SummerSlam]. I do not know. I haven’t had a response, but it’s not because I’m not trying. “
