Scots will be able to enjoy their favorite meals at affordable prices starting Monday with the Eat Out to Help Out program. The initiative was launched by the UK government with the aim of restarting the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Diners will be able to enjoy half the price on food and drinks at participating restaurants when they dine every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August.

And you won’t need a voucher to take advantage of this offer and you can use the discount as often as you want throughout the month, reports the Mirror.

McDonald’s is one of the chains to participate in the government program

The 50% saving is available up to £ 10 per person and the program excludes alcoholic drinks.

Hundreds of restaurant chains across the country have joined the program.

McDonald’s, Wagamama, and Wetherspoon are just a few of the favorites on the list.

Scots can also check which of their local independent restaurants are participating through the UK Government’s Postcode Checker.

Here is a list of all UK channels where you can claim your 50% discount.
