Dante Falconeri’s story when we last saw him
After leaving the series for the first time, Zamprogna returned for a special episode in 2018 for her character’s father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The actor then returned for several episodes that aired in March 2019.
On the last comeback, his father helped him find the man who shot his wife, Lulu Spencer. Falconeri ended up killing the man, named Raj Patel, in self-defense. He reunited with Spencer and his children but had started suffering from PTSD because of everything that had happened. He left town to protect Spencer and the children.

What Dominic Zamprogna said not too long ago about returning to the show
Zamprogna first told Soaps in Depth in May that he was interested in returning to the series as a core cast member. Franc [Valentini] knows I’m ready to go home, ”he said in part. “And I would be totally open to a contract. There’s so much potential with the character and the story right now. With everything they’ve done since Dante left, there are so many options, and they would all be fun to play.
In a more recent interview with Michael Fairman TV about a separate new project he had released, Zamprogna went into more detail about missing the show. He revealed that he had feelings about returning to the show for “a long time.” One new thing he revealed is that he left the show at a time when he was questioning his instinct as an actor.
He explained, “You only want to leave because of your situation, and personally I was going through some things, and the only thing I have relied on for my entire career is my confidence and instinct. As soon as you start to question any of these things, you need to take a step back. This is what I was doing. I’ve never had a job for as long as I had GH and went through a whole range of feelings. There are ups and downs and in between. There were too many cases where for some reason; I no longer had confidence in my abilities.
