Reading and Leeds are among the oldest and most important musical events in Britain. Reading has an audience capacity of 105,000 music fans, while Leeds can accommodate 75,000.

The Reading Festival itself dates back to the 1960s and was best known as a rock festival, but over the years it has included more diverse programming and added Leeds as a second venue in 1999.

Headliners last year included The 1975, Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots, and Foo Fighters. Other acts include Billie Eilish, Bastille, Blossoms, Yungblud, Pale Waves and The Distillers.
