PRINCE Harry and Prince William have issued a rare joint statement to announce a statue of Princess Diana, which will be unveiled on what would have been her 60th birthday.
The work was originally commissioned in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and to recognize her positive impact on the world.
In a rare statement, William and Harry said: “Our mother touched so many lives.
“We hope the statue will help everyone who visits Kensington Palace reflect on its life and legacy. ”
This is the first time the brothers have spoken publicly since Harry moved into his new £ 8million mansion in Santa Barbara with wife Meghan Markle and son Archie, after leaving royal life earlier this year .
It also comes after years of alleged tension between the two brothers.
It comes after Meghan took a veiled photo against President Trump ‘for scary and intimidating voter suppression tactics’ during her conversation with activist Gloria Steinem.
